Windows Vista SP1 and Windows Server 2008 Completed
Microsoft is delivering the final versions of Windows Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows Server 2008 to hardware and software manufacturers from today. With the release to manufacturing (RTM), OEM partners can preinstall the two solutions on their computers, while developers can test and adapt their software using the final versions. Buyers of new Windows Vista systems will receive Service Pack 1 in a few weeks on new PCs and during the first half of 2008 as a standalone retail product. Windows Vista SP1 will shortly also be available through Windows Update and as an installation file online.
