Boris FX released Title Toolkit, a four-plug-in collection for creating animated broadcast titles directly inside After Effects.
Text animation and crawl tools
Vector Text animated type through the After Effects controls and timeline. Text Scrambler positioned text, while Title Crawl automated rolls and crawls with optional masks. Vector Shape supplied shadow styles and animated-shadow controls.
The toolkit also supported text on a path, type-on animation and motion blur. It was the first full Boris product offered as an online download. Introductory pricing was $199 until 1 July 2003, rising to $249 afterwards.
