Education and time-lapse use
The application supported stop-motion work for art education and time-lapse capture for science classes. Boinx offered multi-seat education licences and planned dedicated education bundles.
Uncompressed professional workflow
Professional users could work with uncompressed image material and edit individual frames in an external application such as Adobe Photoshop. Boinx also planned an iStopMotion Pro release with higher-resolution support and additional production features.
iStopMotion cost €41 as a download, with a free Lite version available for evaluation. Current macOS, camera and image-editor compatibility should be tested before production use.
