Wacom Introduces Graphire3 Tablet Range

Wacom’s Graphire3 range adds three pressure-sensitive tablet packages for photo and video work.

Wacom has introduced three Graphire3 graphics-tablet packages for photo and video editing: Graphire Classic, Graphire Studio and Graphire Studio XL. They replace the Graphire2 pen-and-mouse set.

Each package includes a pressure-sensitive pen and software matched to its target users. Graphire Classic includes Corel Procreate Painter Classic. Studio and Studio XL include Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, Nik Multimedia penPalette LE, Pinnacle Studio 8 SE and ACDSee 5.0.

The cordless, battery-free pen has a pressure-sensitive eraser and a programmable double side switch. Graphire Classic and Studio XL also include a ball-free mouse with a scroll wheel and assignable buttons.

A transparent photo frame on the tablet surface can hold personal photographs or aid tracing. At more than 2,000 dpi, Graphire3 tablets offer twice the resolution of Graphire2.

Graphire Classic costs 99 euros. Graphire Studio with an A6 tablet costs 135 euros, while Graphire Studio XL with an A5 tablet costs 239 euros.
