Dell’s Canvas 27 – touch monitor and pen tablet in maxi format
In January of this year, Dell presented the Canvas 27 at the CES 2O17 electronics trade fair in Las Vegas: A 27-inch touch monitor that supports both finger input and a battery-free, pressure-sensitive pen. There are also so-called totems - capacitive push and turn controls. Dell emphasises the "CES 2O17 Innovation Awards" on its website. Tablets of this size are rare on the market - and expensive. In this class, there is actually only the large Cintiq QHD from Wacom and Microsoft's Surface Studio - both significantly more expensive than the newcomer. The Canvas is now also available in Germany - at a comparatively favourable price. The interest of creative users in this product is correspondingly high.
