Digital Rapids is introducing version 2 of its StreamPro and Enterprise software at NAB 2004. New functions include image encoding, watch folders, multifile import, MPEG-2 streaming, MXF and AAF support, and expanded publishing through HTML, XML and ASCII.
The Enterprise edition can build platform-independent, workgroup-based multiformat encoding systems.
CarbonHD, shown in preview form at IBC 2003, extends the company’s range with HD-capable multiformat encoding. It can also operate as a lower-cost logging station for SD and HD material and as an SD and HD clip server.
Both products will be available after NAB 2004. CarbonHD pricing has not yet been announced. StreamPro 2 is expected to cost 2,200 euros, or 4,400 euros for the Enterprise edition.
