With the HD-capable Videoplex MPEG-2 decoder board, adaptations and drivers can certainly be expected in the shortest possible time in order to also have HD framebuffers available for compositing software packages such as Discreet Combsution or Eyeon Digital Fusion.
There is also an update for the MPEG-4 encoders: the new MPEG Moviemaker 400 can generate multiple MPEG-4 streams with a maximum PAL D1 resolution. Thanks to the scalability of the Moviemaker series, it is also possible to operate up to six boards in one workstation and thus have a maximum of twelve inputs available. As usual with Optibase, this product is also delivered with an SDK for developers.
