The animago AWARD honors the best productions from the broad field of computer graphics. This year, work from the Still, Animation, Compositing, Interactive and Games categories will receive awards. Please note our judging fields, which describe these categories in greater detail.
The Interactive and Games categories were introduced as the final addition. The Interactive category brings together all entries that give the viewer control over the sequence. The respective platform and application – whether DVD or web, plug-in or Director – play no role. In the Games field, the graphical realization of a game idea is evaluated across platforms, both on PC or Macintosh computers and on video game consoles.
The deadline for all entries is already February 28, 2005. The producers of the best work from all fields and will be honored with the animago trophy. The ceremonial presentation takes place on April 29, 2005 as part of a major evening event at fmx/05 (April 27 to 30, Haus der Wirtschaft, Stuttgart).
