animago AWARD 2007: Renowned Computer Graphics Competition Gives Starting Signal for New Concept

The most important competition for Digital Content Creation (DCC) in German-speaking countries launches with a new concept: in 2007, the trade magazine DIGITAL PRODUCTION is organising the 11th animago AWARD – and realigning the competition to take account of the technical development of the DCC sectors and growing international participation. Greater transparency in the categories and greater prominence for the winners are the goal.

Adobe Live 2006 – Join the Revolution!

Adobe is inviting creative professionals from the DCC sector, video experts, photographers, designers and prepress users to the second edition of the "Adobe Live!" event at the Palladium in Cologne on 9 and 10 May 2006 under the motto "Join the Revolution". This major event - Adobe's first after the Macromedia takeover - is intended to show visitors how they can optimise their work processes with Adobe products free of charge, in a concrete and vivid way. In addition to the software manufacturer itself, numerous partner companies will be represented at the event, including Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Epson, NEC, Sanyo, Sony, Wacom and Xerox. Adobe partners will be presenting their solutions for professional design, web and video workflows in the exhibition hall of the Palladium.

animago Award 2004: Winners of the Most Important Competition for DCC Have Been Decided

At the animago Award, the most important competition for Digital Content Creation (DCC) in the German-speaking world, more than 1,100 participants from 50 countries took part this year with around 1,300 entries. This allowed the competition organized by the trade magazine DIGITAL PRODUCTION to significantly increase both the number of participants and the number of entries and further expand its international importance.
