CTP requires only a standard PC and a basic scanner to produce animated series at broadcast or film quality.
CTP is offered in several editions. CTP Pro, now priced at €899 including VAT, targets professional animation for film and television through resolution-independent operation. It supports common industry standards including PAL, NTSC, HDTV, Academy, Super 35, VistaVision, 2K and CinemaScope.
CTP Pencil Test, priced at €229, provides a tool for line testing in preproduction. Animation phases imported through a video camera or scanner can be checked, cleaned and animated. The finished animation can then be imported into CTP Pro through an X-sheet for further processing.
CTP Lite costs €179 and targets animation produced mainly for websites, DVD projects, ambitious private work or education. It includes the full CTP Pro feature set but limits maximum resolution and layer count.
CTP Pro is also available as an academic edition for €459.
