Discreet Changes Name to Autodesk Media and Entertainment

After six years as part of the Autodesk group, Discreet has now officially changed its name to Autodesk Media and Entertainment.

The goals of the change are intended to be improvements in the areas of research and development, training, marketing and support.

System products such as flame, inferno and lustre are now being renamed Discreet Flame, Discreet Inferno and Discreet Lustre. Other products such as 3ds max and Combustion will be managed as Autodesk products in future versions.
