Luxology has changed the licence agreements for its Modo modelling software: Its buyers may now use Modo in parallel on Macintosh and Windows computers. The program is already supplied on one disc for Mac OS X and Windows anyway; alternatively, it can be downloaded from the Modo website. The evaluation version, which can be used free of charge for 30 days, is also available for retrieval there.

“We license Modo to an indivium, not to a machine,” explains Luxology boss Brad Peebler. “Many 3D designers appreciate the possibility of switching back and forth between the platforms, for example between a PC workstation and a Mac laptop.”
