The fmx/06 will take place from May 3 to 6, 2006, in Stuttgart. The 11th international conference for animation, effects, real time and content thus seamlessly follows the International Festival of Animated Film, which runs from April 27 to May 2, also in Stuttgart.
As a result, festival visitors are intended to have the opportunity to extend their stay and learn about thematically related areas at fmx/06, explains fmx organiser Professor Thomas Haegele.
The fmx/05, during which the animago AWARD 2005 was presented and the DCC/EXPO product exhibition was held, attracted around 3,500 visitors from Germany and abroad this year. According to organiser information, two thirds of those interested in fmx were professionals, one third students.
