The company Schnittpunkt is holding an information event on the subject of HDV together with Sony and Avid (requested) on November 3 and 4 in Cologne.
The date on 3.11. is reserved for members of the Documentary Film Association (AG-DOK), while the one on 4.11. is open to Schnittpunkt customers and interested parties. Then, at 10 a.m., Sony’s HDV camcorders will be presented, the individual types compared with one another and the topic of HDV in professional production will be examined extensively. There will be an opportunity to inspect material and question the possibilities of the low-cost HDTV format. HDV editing on Avid and Pinnacle products will then be examined.
The event takes place at Schnittpunkt, Annostraße 27-33, 50678 Cologne. Interested parties can register informally by email at punkt@schnittpunkt.de.
