Avid announces the availability of Pinnacle Studio Version 10. The latest version of the video editing product family is now available in stores worldwide and is aimed at ambitious consumers: The key new features of Studio 10 include native HD support as well as pan and zoom functions.
“The products in the Studio family are the perfect content-creation package for home users, equipped with powerful HD functions and further image-enhancement functions that offer every user even easier ways to create a professional-looking video in just a few minutes,” explains Jeff Hastings, General Manager of Pinnacle Systems.
The Studio 10 product family is offered in the Studio and Studio Plus variants; only the latter supports HD – according to the manufacturer, as the first video editing solution in this sector. In addition to the software, Pinnacle offers four hardware packages that expand the range of functions to include the ability to capture material from DV and analog video cameras as well as video recorders. The Studio 10 software is available for 59 euros or 99 euros (Studio Plus).
