Georg Simon Ohm University of Applied Sciences Nuremberg characterizes the “Ohm-Rolle, Fall Collection” as “short films with cult status”: This collection of short films by students in the Film and Animation department will be presented on November 11 in the university’s Audimax (90489 Nuremberg, Bahnhofstr. 87).
The program includes short films, music videos (including two clips for the pop band Robocop Kraus), as well as channel and title designs. Professor Jürgen Schopper himself hosts the evening featuring work by his students. In addition, a live show act has been announced. The event lasts about 90 minutes; admission is free.
The Nuremberg students most recently received six awards at the animago AWARD, including three first prizes. According to the university, industry and business, such as the Nuremberg Toy Fair, also show great interest and repeatedly award commissions to the university. “The quality of the work in the Ohm-Rolle 2005 Fall Collection gives reason to hope for further success,” Schopper explains.
