Medical Clip Art and 3D Models: Zygote Offers Educational Discount

Zygote Media Group, a provider of biomedical 3D models, images and animations, is offering its human-anatomy collections at a discount through a new academic licensing program: universities and other educational institutions receive a 30 percent discount.

Zygote is also making its library of scientific and medical 3D clip art available free of charge. These low-resolution images are suitable for use on the web or for PowerPoint presentations. High-resolution images for printing purposes receiving trainees at special prices. The images include overwhelming new visualizations of the bird-flu virus as well as HIV images, the company explains.

The academic licensing program includes a 30 percent discount on all products, including the following items: male anatomy collection, female anatomy collection, HIV 3D models, bird-flu images, 3D skeleton models and 3D DNA models.

The “Male and Female Human Anatomy Collections” and all associated products are available now. The discount price ranges from 3.50 US dollars for medical clip art to 9,796 US dollars for the complete “Human Anatomy Collection.”
