The new Camera Raw 3.3 plug-in for Photoshop CS 2 is available now. The free software tool expands the extensive support for Raw data in Photoshop CS 2 by 17 additional camera models from major manufacturers such as Canon, Fujifilm, Kodak, Mamiya, Nikon, Olympus, Pentax and Sony.
With the extension, the new Camera Raw plug-in now supports a total of 113 different camera models and enables professional photographers to process Raw data effortlessly without reducing image quality. With the new plug-in, users benefit from faster and simplified import of Raw data and save processing time.
The 17 new camera models now supported by the new Camera Raw 3.3 plug-in and the expanded DNG converter are, individually: Canon EOS 5D, Canon Canon EOS 1D Mark II N, Canon EOS 20Da, Fujifilm Finepix E900, Fujifilm Finepix S5200/5600, Fujifilm Finepix S9000/9500, Kodak EasyShare P850, Kodak EasyShare P880, Mamiya ZD, Nikon D200, Olympus E-500, Olympus SP-310, Olympus SP-350, Olympus SP-500UZ, Pentax *ist DL, Pentax *ist DS2 and Sony DSC-R1.
The new Adobe Camera Raw 3.3 plug-in works in Adobe Photoshop CS2, Photoshop Elements 3.0 and Photoshop Elements 4.0 and is now available as a free download.
Adobe’s recently presented beta version of Lightroom also uses Camera Raw technology. This software supports more than 100 camera models and integrates the conversion of Raw data into a unified workflow.
