With Media 100 Producer and Producer Suite, the editing specialist is launching two completely software-based applications that are a further development of Media 100 SW. Accordingly, the applications offer all the features of the 11.x versions and are compatible with the Media 100 HD Suite, HDe and SDe systems. Above all, support for Firewire inputs and outputs and support for Panasonic P2 connections have been added.
Media 100 Producer is supplied together with the Boris Graffiti title-animation software at a price of 795 US dollars. Boris Red 4 is included with the Producer Suite, which costs 1,295 US dollars. The upgrade from Media 100 SW costs 249 or 749 US dollars, respectively.
Both tools are also intended to be available for Apple’s Intel Macs from January 2007.
