A symposium on the subject: “From Digital Cinema to Mobile Television”. is being held by the Institute for Broadkcast Technology (IRT) on January 23 and 24, 2007 at Arnold & Richter in the ARRI Cinema, Munich. The range of topics is intended to extend from digital, very high-resolution cinema to small-format television on mobile devices. Ideas and effects of the Digital Cinema Initiatives (DCI) on viewers will be explained, and a technical overview will illuminate the background.
