As part of the “Camera Forum” event series organised by HFF Munich and the German Society of Cinematographers (bvk), Michael Ballhaus will show his latest film “Departed” (director: Martin Scorsese) on January 17, 2007. Following the screening, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film and the subject “Successful in the USA as a German” with the Director of Photography. The discussion will be moderated by Diethard Prengel from the bvk.
The venue is the cinema of the University of Television and Film (HFF) at Frankenthalerstrasse 23, and the event begins at 6 p.m.
Because a large turnout is expected, the organisers ask for registration at info@kameraforum.org.
The new homepage now serves as a platform for the Camera Forum. In addition to the advance announcements, past forums are being made accessible in the archive. The last event with Axel Block is already available as a 45-minute audio compilation.
