Bavaria Film is expanding the technical services available for film and television productions at its site. From February 2007, the equipment pool operated by Bavaria Production Services and Cine-Mobil will add fourteen SR III and SR III HS film cameras. The new 300-square-metre camera-rental facility connects directly to the lighting and stage-equipment warehouse and includes two test rooms plus storage and service areas.
Bavaria Production Services managing director Marc Böckenförde described the addition of 16mm cameras as a continuation of the companies’ strategy to offer comprehensive services at major German production centres. Customers will be able to source lighting, stage and camera equipment as one package, including lenses, fluid heads, tripods, accessories and test facilities.
