At the “Mobile Forum 2007” on March 08 in Munich, everything will revolve around mobile technology, content and communication. In its in-house Studio 7, TV service provider Plazamedia, together with Medientage München and MedienCampus Bayern, is presenting live demonstrations, showcases, case studies, lectures and panel discussions. Whether Bluetooth, UMTS/HSDPA, DVB-H or DMB – national and international experts will show and discuss the entire range of mobile standards, transmission paths, content and advertising options.
“Following the extremely successful HD Forum 2005, as a leading production service provider we are also accompanying innovations in mobile communication. At the Mobile Forum 2007, with high-calibre speakers and participants, we want not only to talk about mobile communication, but to demonstrate current practical examples and discuss the different business models”, says Florian Nowosad, Chairman of Plazamedia’s Management Board. The Mobile Forum will thus become the central industry event for everyone who deals with mobile communication in their professional practice.
“The future is mobile” – Wolfgang Kasper is convinced of this. The Managing Director of RTL mobile will open the Mobile Forum 2007 as keynote speaker. In addition, experts such as Manfred Neumann, Mobile Services SevenOne Intermedia, Hendrik Rinnert, Managing Director of Mobiles Fernsehen Deutschland, and Thomas Zervos, Strategic Planning Jung von Matt, explain the possibilities offered by this mobile future. Marcus Hochhaus, Head of New Media and Business Development at Plazamedia, presents mobile transmission paths in comparison.
In addition to the technical standards and the production of content, the Mobile Forum also deals with economic aspects, such as the opportunities for mobile marketing and advertising. Further information on the Mobile Forum 2007 as well as the programme and registration form are available online. Interested parties can register by fax at 089/68999-255 until March 1.
