Eyeon is now also providing version 5.1 of its Fusion compositing software as a free Learning Edition. It is intended for experimentation and, according to the company, is intended to satisfy strong demand for a version of the program with which the functionality of the tool can be tested.
The Learning Edition differs from the retail version through integrated watermarks that are intended to prevent commercial use. According to Eyeon, the functionality has not been curtailed. Users of the Learning Edition are also to receive the same support as regular Fusion buyers. In April, the company also intends to release new tutorials and new training material.
