A few months after the release of Modo 203, manufacturer Luxology has announced a fundamental update to version 301, which is to be released this summer.
Modo 301 is based on a revised engine that is intended to provide more performance and stability.
Luxology has given the application two fundamental new features: True 3D sculpting and the ability to animate objects and their properties.
Improvements to Modo’s subdivision modeler make it easier for users to design organic shapes and precise solid models.
Furthermore, Modo 301 is to support network rendering and offer an improved workflow.
Owners of Modo 203 can already reserve an upgrade to Modo 301 for 295 dollars in the Luxology Store. After release, the update is to cost 395 dollars.
