The Games Academy is expanding and opening a branch in Frankfurt/Main after seven years of activity in Berlin. According to its own information, the private educational institution currently has more than 120 students in 7 ongoing courses. By opening a second facility, the Berlin specialists want to work closely with the studios there and expand their capacities, which are already fully utilized in Berlin.

“At Crytek, several Games Academy graduates are working on the current title Crysis. Whether as a Junior Game Designer or Game Artist – all have integrated excellently and have now become an important part of our international team,” explains Cevat Yerli, President of Crytek and Executive Producer Crysis. “We are therefore pleased that, through the proximity of our development studio to the Games Academy’s new location in Frankfurt, we can contribute to promoting young German game developers.”
