E-Frontier announced that delivery of the German version of the 3D figure and animation software Poser 7 has begun.
Poser 7 contains numerous new functions and workflow optimizations such as synchronization, multiple undo, non-linear animation, universal poses and a new morph tool for effortless creation of custom morph targets. Poser 7 also contains over 1 GB of new Poser content, such as the new second-generation (G2) male and female figures Sydney and Simon as well as a large collection of third-party content.

New Functions in Poser 7:
Synchronization: With the new speech designer, animations now appear much more realistic. Laypeople and animation specialists can now add lifelike human facial features to talking figures.
Multiple Undo: Multiple undo and redo can be used for a wide variety of document changes, thus saving a great deal of time during editing.
Non-linear Animation: Poser combines individual animation layers into a single, coherent animation, making it easier to organize and reuse animation parts.
Improved Rendering: Through rendering in multiple threads, rendering processes can be executed up to four times faster on computers with multiple processors.
HDRI support for Image Based Lighting (IBL) and textures.
Universal Poses: Users can now add poses to all bipedal figures in Poser regardless of the joints and physique of the figures.
Morph Target Creation: The morph tool palette now has powerful interactive controls for creating custom morph targets. With a few simple steps, birthmarks, dimples or wrinkles can be added to Poser figures.
New Content and G2 Figures: Poser contains over 1 GB of new Poser content, such as the new second-generation (G2) male and female figures Simon and Sydney as well as a large collection of third-party content.
The German version of Poser 7 is available now for 189.99 euros. Upgrades from Poser 4 and newer versions are available for 99.99 euros. Until July 31, 2007, buyers of the full version or an upgrade will also receive a 3D content package with the theme “Secret Agents.”
