Viewed as a whole, Tele 5 reaches the order of magnitude of almost 35 million television households for the first time.
In its application for the advertised DVB-T frequencies in NRW and Hesse, Tele 5 convinced the responsible state media authorities under the criterion of safeguarding diversity. In Brandenburg, Tele 5 will be newly fed in as part of Kabel Deutschland’s digitization measures. In addition, a number of further network operators and cable households were won for Tele 5 in the first half of 2007.

Since July 1: DVB-T activation Rhine-Main: channel 64, Cologne / Bonn: channel 36, Düsseldorf / Ruhr area: channel 52
Since July 10: New feed-in to the Unitymedia / NRW cable network on S 22
Since the end of June: Gradual new feed-in on the Kabel Deutschland / Brandenburg network.
