The new positions include the post of Vice President of International Newsgathering, the newly created position of a strategic director (CNN Senior International Operations Director) and the appointment of an editorial operations manager for the Asia-Pacific region as well as a senior producer in Hong Kong.
Parisha Khosravi becomes Senior Vice President International Newsgathering. She takes responsibility for all international reporting by CNN International. In this position, she oversees more than 60 correspondents, 26 departments and the Atlanta-based International Desk. With 20 years of professional experience at CNN, Khosravi had already played a leading role in research and reporting on the most important international media events of the past two decades, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall or the international reactions to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Will King becomes CNN Senior International Operations Director and in this function oversees all strategic and non-editorial processes in CNN International’s reporting. King was previously Director of Operations for international reporting. He has worked for CNN in Atlanta since 1980.
