A large industry exhibition, specialist workshops, presentations and a media party form the central elements of Bavaria Open House. Around 800 film and television professionals and decision-makers typically attend by personal invitation from the group’s management. Guests include journalists, media policymakers, producers, production executives, editors, cinematographers and other creative professionals.
Workshop subjects include the film set of 2010, covering HD, 2K film streaming, LED lighting panels and large camera cranes; a television studio using partially virtual technology; devices for living-room and mobile media consumption; digital cinema in finishing and distribution; and new markets enabled by archives, content management and exploitation.
Panels and presentations will address workflows, innovations and production examples. The industry exhibition will bring together manufacturers of film and postproduction equipment, film and television production service providers, media specialists, and suppliers of distribution and content-management systems.
VIP film tours will also provide access to restricted areas of the Bavaria Film Group.
