Nemetschek Group: Profitable growth in the first half-year

Revenue rises by 37.7 percent to 69.8 million euros, significant growth at home and abroad, EBITDA 14.1 million euros (up 64.5 percent), period cash flow increases from 8.6 to 13.1 million euros.

The Nemetschek Group, a global leading provider of information technology in the field of planning, constructing and using buildings and real estate, was once again able to significantly expand its business at home and abroad in the first half of 2007. Revenue and earnings improved noticeably. “On this basis, we stand by our

annual target of achieving total revenue of more than 140 million euros and an EBITDA margin

of greater than 20 percent”, comments Ernst Homolka, spokesman

of the Executive Board of Nemetschek AG, on the interim report.

Revenue: Increase of 37.7 percent to 69.8 million euros.

Group revenue increased by 37.7 percent compared with the previous year

to 69.8 million euros. In doing so, revenue increases were recorded

in all segments. Especially abroad, the Group’s revenue grew

strongly from 29.8 million euros to 43.9 million euros. Graphisoft, now 100-percent acquired, generated a share of 15.9 million euros of this. This has confirmed the concentration on the growth course with a focus on internationalization.

EBITDA: Increase of 64.5 percent to 14.1 million euros

Group EBITDA grew by 64.5 percent to 14.1 million euros (previous year: 8.6 million euros). This corresponds to an EBITDA margin of 20.3 percent (previous year: 17 percent). Group EBITDA excluding Graphisoft was 9.8 million euros (previous year: 8.6 million euros), thus increasing by 14.9 percent. Operating earnings (EBIT) climbed to 9.2 million euros in the first half-year (previous year: 7.2 million euros), thus growing by 29 percent. Burdened by depreciation from purchase-price allocation, Nemetschek increased net income moderately to 5.9 million euros; earnings per share (undiluted) remained at the previous year’s level at 0.59 euros.

Cash flow: Good result increases period cash flow

Period cash flow increased to 13.1 million euros as of 30.06.2007 (previous year: 8.6 million euros). Cash flow from ongoing business activities rose by 5.2 million euros to 16.2 million euros. Equity amounts to 55.6 million euros (December 31, 2006: 55.1 million euros). This corresponds to an equity ratio of 29.4 percent (December 31, 2006: 27 percent).
