After the conclusion of Siggraph 2007, the organisers announced the visitor figures. Exactly 24,043 people from 79 countries were counted at the entrances.
This year, 230 companies were represented with stands in the exhibition section, corresponding to an increase of 12 percent.
The Siggraph 2008 conference, already the 35th in total, will take place from Monday, August 11 to Friday, August 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center; the exhibition is open from August 12 to 14. This time, Jacquelyn Martino of IBM Watson Research will take over the management of the conference programme.
In addition, a Siggraph Asia is planned in Singapore for 2008.
