They had fallen from a truck on a bend during filming in Berlin-Mitte, police announced on Monday. Filming was then stopped. The truck was seized and is to be examined for technical defects. Whether filming will now continue as planned was initially not yet known. Cruise plays Hitler assassin Claus Graf Schenk von Stauffenberg. The film about the assassination attempt of July 20, 1944 is being filmed in part at the historic location in Berlin’s government quarter.
