PDF Tools AG also provides tools for standards-compliant display and printing of PDF/A documents.
The 3-Heights PDF to PDF/A Converter converts documents from multiple PDF versions into PDF/A and can apply PDF/A-compliant digital signatures. It is available as a developer API, a command-line program, and a Windows service. The API and command-line tool run on Windows, including Vista and 64-bit editions, as well as Linux, macOS, Sun Solaris, and other systems.
The 3-Heights PDF Validator checks existing PDF documents for PDF/A compliance. The 3-Heights Image to PDF Converter turns images and scanned documents into PDF/A, while 3-Heights PDF Producer generates compliant documents from Windows and host applications. Other components provide compliant viewing and printing.
The tools will be demonstrated at DMS stand I-61 in Hall 7. OPENLiMiT SignCubes, a supplier of qualified-signature systems, will share the stand. PDF Tools will also advise visitors at the PDF/A Competence Center stand F-51. Roger Reeves will present “The PDF/A workflow: create, convert, sign, view, print” each day at 15:00.
PDF Tools chief executive Dr Hans Bärfuss, a member of the ISO committee for the PDF/A standard, will participate in the panel “Electronic archiving: the memory of the information society” on 27 September at 13:00.
