In September 2007, a new generation of advertising media on the World Wide Web will come into being: video clip competitions on one’s own homepage. The whole thing works like this: Companies start video clip competitions on the CRAZY AWARD portal. The portal team then sends these companies a simple HTML code, with the help of which they can integrate the competitions into their own homepage, so to speak, using the “prefabricated construction method”. In this way, the respective video clip competition runs on two tracks, namely on the one hand on CRAZY AWARD and on the other hand on the company’s homepage.
The HTML code can be implemented with the help of a few clicks, so installing a video clip competition on the homepage takes only about a minute. If problems occur during installation, free telephone support is available. Companies that want to adapt the “outfit” of their competition to their own corporate design have to “tinker” a little longer. But even in this case, installation and adaptation take no longer than only a few minutes.
The “prefabricated construction method” for video clip competitions is not only free of charge for the participating companies, but also enhances their image: A video clip competition on their own homepage gives visitors the impression that the company in question organises and conducts video clip competitions completely independently. Another advantage: Visitors to the company homepage have access to all those functions that are also offered on the CRAZY AWARD portal: Thus they can watch video clips, register as participants, upload video clips themselves and vote for specific video clips. In addition, they may also send messages and write comments.
