The new plug-ins offer Blender compatibility for 3Dconnexion’s entire product line and support Windows, Linux and Mac OS X.

Whether film animations or game development – the range of applications with Blender is extensive. 3Dconnexion now offers the Blender community the entire range of 3D mice and thus optimal support for the creative workflow. Through slight movements of the controller cap, the user can easily keep their 3D worlds under control. In one fluid movement, they can move, rotate and zoom 3D models ? impossible with only a mouse and keyboard.

“With the 3Dconnexion mice, Blender users not only experience a completely new feeling of design, the 3D mice also ensure that fun is not neglected,” explains Dieter Neujahr, President of 3Dconnexion. “A 3D mouse optimizes the workflow in 3D graphics programs. 3D needs 3D!”

“We are pleased that 3Dconnexion is supporting the open-source concept with the plug-ins for Blender,” explains Rui Campos, BlenderNation/BlenderBuilds.com. “The new plug-ins give the entire Blender community access to outstanding 3D input technology that delivers optimal performance.”
