Software manufacturer DAZ 3D has given its integrated 3D package Carrara a version jump to number 6.0.
The most important innovation is full support for all 3D content offered by DAZ 3D.
Other innovations are Non-linear Animatione, which allows users to create reusable animation clips; Dynamic Hair; Displacement Modeling, with which the user can paint details onto a model; Symmetrical Modeling and Light In-Scattering, with which waves and water surfaces can be designed.
Carrara 6.0 is available for Windows and Mac OS X at prices starting at 141 US dollars for the update.
