At IBC, Miranda is showing a 3D graphics authoring and rendering platform for demanding broadcast graphics in HD and SD under the name X-3D. X-3D is integrated into the template-based workflow of Miranda’s Xmedia Suite and is technically based on image-processing technology from Ventuz.

The XVentuz design and authoring software and the Xstudio application run on the device; the latter can be used to create templates that may also contain connections to databases and feeds. The Xnews NRCS plug-in enables editors to generate graphics for their broadcasts from templates.
