HD Radio Days 2007 in Lucerne

Ruoss AG and Radio Sunshine, supported by BAKOM (Federal Office of Communications), have been conducting the first large-scale field test for HD Radio in Europe since March 2006.

HD Radio is a digital radio method characterized by extensive compatibility with conventional analog FM technology and corresponds to the terrestrial and digital radio standard in the USA. For local-regional radio broadcasters the most efficient and economically sensible supplement or even alternative to DAB+. The subjective impressions gained so far of the system’s behavior in the field and in the laboratory are very impressive and very positive overall.

At the HD Radio Days on October 4/5, 2007 in Lucerne, experts and authorities will present the results from the field trial in the various areas. We hereby cordially invite you to the media conference on October 4, 2007.
