Since September 2007, Thomas Buchholz (39) has been the new License Compliance Manager CE at Autodesk. This newly created area includes license consulting and license auditing, among other things. Thomas Buchholz is responsible here for setting it up in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In addition to extensive activities on the subject of licensing, Thomas Buchholz will launch a special partner program. Together with Autodesk sales partners, he wants to support users in introducing permanent license management. Thomas Buchholz on his new task: „The cause of the problem, for example under-licensing, often lies in deficient license management, a lack of overview and ignorance of the legal situation. My task is to implement this topic successfully and to advise and support our partners and customers during its introduction.“
Before moving to Autodesk, Thomas Buchholz was employed by the IT systems house Cancom. In the area of license management, he led a consulting team for contract management, License Compliance, license audits, license consulting and certification.
