INUS Technology added liveTransfer to Rapidform XOR2, connecting scan-based modelling with Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0.
Rapidform converted point-cloud scans into 3D construction data. The new module transferred that geometry in Pro/ENGINEER’s native format.
The connection used PTC’s programming interface and retained the model’s complete feature history. Wildfire could therefore continue the result as a parametric construction model rather than receiving only flattened geometry.
liveTransfer shipped as part of the Rapidform XOR2 package, which had been available since July 2007.
INUS also joined PTC’s Partner Advantage programme at Silver level, giving the developer additional access to Pro/ENGINEER interfaces.
