Together with the Dreamworks studio, comedian legend Jerry Seinfeld stands behind the buzzing animated adventure BEE MOVIE – THE HONEY PLOT as producer, screenwriter and inspiration.
Fresh out of college, the bee Barry B. Benson is at the beginning of a lifelong career at Honex. That means hard work, no variety and a life for honey production. Not exactly the best prospects for an adventurous male bee like Barry, and so he leaves the hive with the bee aviator squadron to seek his destiny somewhere out there. As little as he cares for traditions, he also quickly breaks the law of bee silence toward human beings when he meets New York florist Vanessa. And from her he also learns that humans have been taking their honey away from bees for centuries. It is time, he thinks, to do something about it and sue humanity for theft.
Some mix-ups, windshields and a sweet conspiracy await Barry B. Benson – an overwhelming bee adventure in Seinfeld’s favorite big-city jungle around Central Park.
