With these and further highlights, the sixth Mobile Content Days, which take place on October 18 and 19, 2007 at the Dorint Novotel Messe München, set the course for mobile planning in the media industry.

More and more people use “social networks” for intensive interpersonal exchange. Both private and business interests are discussed and linked with one another on these platforms. This trend coming from the stationary Internet is currently becoming one of the most important drivers in the mobile Web. In Germany, 1.9 percent of mobile-phone users already have access to mobile social communities. In the USA too, this trend is unmistakable, with now 7.5 million users. At the Mobile Content Days, which take place in Munich on October 18 and 19, 2007, important players present the market innovations.

Dr. Markus Rhode from the University of Siegen presents context-sensitive, mobile support for health and fitness and on the first day takes on the part of the research observer of the user side in the panel. Arnd Benninghoff, managing director of Holtzbrink eLab GmbH, illustrates the new digital services from the viewpoint of an incubator using different trends and perspectives. Burkhard Leimbrock, Director of Vodafone MediaSolutions, deals with the question of what tomorrow’s marketing channels will look like.

“Mass phenomena in the mobile market from Japan and the world. What moves the masses in Europe?” Boris Berten, managing director of Buongiorno Deutschland GmbH, gets to the bottom of this question on October 19. Dr. Christan Kühl, member of the board of Acoreus AG, shows the company’s own innovative billing models for the media industry.

With more than 16 top speakers, the Mobile Content Days present the latest trend analyses on mobile-community behavior, mobile marketing channels, mobile TV, cross-media campaigns, mobile promotion, mobile content for radio users and further subjects. Exciting discussion rounds await the participants.
