“When the request for sponsorship came, we agreed immediately,” says Hans Pfeiffer, managing director of TRIPLE ALPHA. “Usually we fly our prominent customers to the places where they work. Here we are for once a part of their work. Incredible, with what great effort the aircraft was
prepared for filming. Together with Essen Mülheim Airport, that was an exciting and interesting project. For us airline people, who view everything very soberly and not artistically, it was a completely different world and a unique experience.”
Alongside the leading actors, Lou Reed, Patti Smith and Milla Jovovich take part. Director Wim Wenders wrote the screenplay and acts as producer.
After filming, the TRIPLE ALPHA jet took off again directly. However, without Finn alias Campino. Flight destination Moscow.
