Ratatouille remains the main course

The animated film “Ratatouille” remains the most popular main course among cinema fans in its second week. According to preliminary figures, just under 750,000 guests enjoyed it over the weekend.

The rat Remy supports the kitchen boy Linguini when cooking. The French

vegetable dish is awarded the top spot in the media control cinema charts. “Ratatouille” is well on the way to taking the distinction of most successful Pixar production away from “Finding Nemo”.

The comedians Adam Sandler and Kevin James not only go through fire together in their current comedy, they also defend second place together. “Chuck & Larry: Like Fire and Flame” brought in around 155,000 visitors.

In “Operation: Kingdom”, director Peter Berg describes the USA’s fight against Arab terrorists. The new entry lands in third position with around 70,000 viewers. Four FBI investigators, played by Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman and Chris Cooper, must investigate a terrorist attack on an American residential settlement in Saudi Arabia.

As Linda in “The Premonition”, Sandra Bullock foresees the death of her husband Jim (Julian McMahon). She is trapped in a kind of time loop: The days in the future mix with reality. While trying to save her husband, she learns of his dark sides. Around 63,000 cinema-goers propel the newcomer into fourth place.

Maggie Peren’s comedy cannot show a “Change of Position” this week. The feature film about five unemployed single men remains in fifth place with around 41,000 visitors.
