fmx/08 added the Visual Effects Society as a cooperation partner for its visual-effects programme. The international professional organization planned to help shape the conference track.
The conference for animation, visual effects, games and digital media was organized by the Animationsinstitut at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. fmx/08 was scheduled for 5 to 8 May 2008 at Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart.
