The Future Prize goes to:
TRUST.Benefit, Eicke Bettinga, 2007, 60 min

The Future Prize is being awarded once in 2007.
Reasoning:
Director Eicke Bettinga has succeeded with stylistic assurance in telling a love story complexly and with stylistic assurance within 60 minutes using the means of the science fiction genre. The jury was convinced by the acting power of the protagonists to the same degree as the outstanding camera and production design, which anchored the images in the present day with great confidence.
