Launched three years ago as a small, local event, the consistently youth-approved Olymptronica advanced to become the second-largest industry meeting in the country. The two-day event, for which several thousand guests are expected according to the organizers, is also considered Germany’s largest event for console e-sports. There are good reasons that the internationally active Olymptronica Events Ltd., organizer of the Frankfurt event of the same name, chose Frankfurt.

In addition to support from the institutional side, Managing Director Gaetano Rizzo particularly praises the good networking within the games industry and the short distances: “Around 80 percent of the companies participating in Olymptronica are based in or around Frankfurt”, says Rizzo.

In addition to numerous other companies and institutions from the RhineMain region, Olymptronica is also one of the supporters of gamearea FRANKFURTRHEINMAIN. gamearea FRANKFURTRHEINMAIN was launched in April 2007 by Weber Networking and Cliffhanger Productions.
