In 27 evening dresses that would be perfect for a fashion show of their own, she stands by all her friends with full bridal power. Only she herself has not yet dared.
When her boss George (Ed Burns) falls in love with her younger, very attractive sister Tess (Malin Akerman) and wants to marry her shortly afterwards, another celebration has to be planned. There is only one problem: Jane herself has been in love with George for a long time. And when wedding columnist Kevin (James Marsden) also appears on the scene, the emotional chaos is complete. The twists and turns surrounding the search for Mr. Right take their course and end surprisingly – for everyone involved.
After her sensational success as Isobel “Izzie” Stevens in Grey’s Anatomy, Katherine Heigl can now be seen alongside actor James Marsden (X-MEN, X-MEN 2, X-MEN – THE LAST STAND, HAIRSPRAY) and Ed Burns (THE SOLDIER JAMES RYAN, 15 MINUTES OF FAME) in the romantic comedy 27 DRESSES. The screenplay for 27 DRESSES was written by Aline Brosh McKenna, who also wrote the script for THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA.
