The most-watched programme of the month was the “Wetten, dass..?” show on November 10, with 13.09 million viewers and a market share of 42.4 percent. ZDF’s sports broadcasts also met with strong audience interest: 8.80 million (MS 38.3 percent) watched the farewell fight of Germany’s boxing queen Regina Halmich against the Israeli Shmoulefeld Finer on screen last Friday. 8.74 million sports fans (MS 28.4 percent) did not want to miss the footbal-European Championship qualifier Cyprus against Germany on November 17.
Rosamunde Pilcher’s “Fog over Killrush Castle”, with 7.27 million (MS 19.3 percent) on November 11, and the ZDF Saturday crime drama “Inspector Lucas”, with 6.31 million (MS 20.8 percent) on November 24, were also high in viewers’ favour.
